John Baker Plumbing & Utilities was founded in 1978 by John E. Baker and his son Danny Baker. Initially operating as a residential plumbing company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, hard work and customer-loyalty soon after lead to bigger commercial plumbing and utility work which included specialization in site water, sewer, and storm drainage.

For almost 20-years, John and Danny built what was to become one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier commercial companies by working with regional contractors on prestigious area jobs including several project at the Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem.

In 1996, Danny Baker took over full direction of the company and successfully continued to grow John Baker Plumbing & Utilities by following in the footprint of integrity, hard-work, and fair pricing set forth by his father. In 1999, JBPU moved it’s current headquarters, a 4,000 square-foot shop located on 13 acres in Pinnacle, North Carolina.

Today, John Baker Plumbing & Utilities employs over 25 highly-qualified employees and proudly helps area contractors complete well-built state-of-the-art projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. Completed projects include major shopping centers, medical facilities, subdivisions, as well as national stores such as Wal Mart, Kroger, and CVS.
